We were invited to screen the film in Berlin at this cool festival -- the program looked amazing!
 The Goblin Baby was featured as GG Film Club's first Short Film Showcase on November 20, 2016. If you missed the discussion, you can find it here on Storify.  We were thrilled to screen our film at Citizen Jane Film Festival in Columbia, MO in November 2016, as part of a late night dark/horror shorts program. All CJFF films are directed by women.
 THE GOBLIN BABY was one of 16 films featured at the Brood Film Festival in Exeter, U.K. in September 2016. Brood Film Fest is the first festival dedicated to 21st century early parenthood, a project of the Digital Institute of Early Parenthood.
Writer/producer/director Shoshana Rosenbaum was one of nine invited filmmakers to The Attic Lab at Stranger With My Face International Film Festival, where she continued to develop the feature-length version of the short film, called THE GOBLIN CHILD. The lab culminated in a pitch for an industry audience.

After the 2014 screenplay finalists in the DC Shorts Film Festival Screenplay Competition had their work performed (it was great to see our production assistant Alison Bauer in a lead role!), "The Goblin Baby" had a special screening. We hope this year's writers were inspired to produce their work the same way we were in 2013!  The Goblin Baby's script was a finalist at the 2013 DC Shorts Film Festival Screenplay Competition. A skeleton crew -- Writer/Director/Producer Shoshana Rosenbaum, DP/Co-producer Aaron Shirely, Gaffer Thomas Fant, Sound Recordist J. Walter Swartz, plus a few little goblins, completed the final day of shooting the film. Thanks to photographer Karen Rosenbaum for capturing some of the shoot!
